Measure Tool

The Measure tool provides a simple tape measure that can be used to find the crow-flies distance between a string of multiple points.

If you have 3 or more points, an imputed curve will be shown.

The Measure tool includes a Show running total option.

When enabled, the tool displays the cumulative distance as you add points. Each new point adds another segment, and the total is updated automatically.

This allows you to measure the full length of a route made up of multiple segments, rather than just viewing individual distances.

Pressing ESC or the clear button clears the current measurement.
