Comments can be placed on the map, as a means of conducting location-specific dialogue with collaborators and stakeholders.
The comment tool is available to non-technical users via Podaris:Engage, so comments can be used for stakeholder engagement.
Comments are pinned to a specific View, so that they relate to layers that are visible within that view, representing a specific phase or scenario of project development.
When placing a comment, a Comment radius will appear, showing the area of the map the comment relates to. While editing the comment, panning or zooming the map will change the comment location and/or comment radius.
You can format text within your comments using the Markdown syntax. An overview of the syntax is available here
To see all the comments in the project, go to the Comments panel
Moving Comments
Once a comment has been placed on the map, you can click the pinned flag for that comment and it can be moved to a different view, by clicking the comment on button:
